Hearing that Jordan Smith was looking for material I wrote this song for him while driving my old pickup to Langley in late March 2017. Got back home with no melody and played three notes that opened the floodgates.
Sent it to Sam Feldman who wrote back that is was "too on the nose". I agree, and myself would add, "a tad too theatrical".
Oh, well.
