Sharon had determined she was taking our 3 children and leaving. Period. No discussion.
We had a weekend gig at the Hockley Valley Ski Resort, and, once this song was written, I sang it every night until people began requesting it. I recorded it on my porta-studio, took it to the local radio station, and they played it daily.
Can't say I didn't try.

After my family had moved out I busied myself by cleaning behind the fridge where I found 3 of those colourful plastic letters with magnets on them ... stragglers from a better day.

I put them on the fridge.
